The fair has been an annual event ever since 1976 and in recent years it has grown in popularity. In fact we believe around 5000 people attended last Monday and the feedback we have received has been very positive. I am sure the many charities that had stalls raised useful money for their causes and our club, as organisers, raised around £5000 for the Children’s Trust Tadworth and St Raphael’s Hospice.
Nevertheless there is always some concern at the time the event is being organised, so your sponsorship, plus the sponsorship of other organisations means a great deal to us.
Smith and Byford is very much a local company and Cheam Village Fair is essentially a community event run by a local charity – Cheam Rotary Club. This is another reason why we are pleased to be associated with your organisation.

Dear Customer Services Manager,
Through you I would like to thank all those at Smith & Byford who expedited the replacement boiler and central heating system at my home.
Your initial and helpful visit to the bungalow on Tuesday 23 March was most reassuring. You were able to put the work required for the total system replacement in place for the following Monday. Wayne and Ellis arrived punctually and worked hard for three days sa that by Wednesday afternoon I had heating again. I am most impressed and would appreciate my gratitude being passed on to them.
Also, once the electricians were here, they worked meticulously to ensure that side of things was correctly installed and working.
I was not totally aware of just haw cold the bungalow had got and at my age realise the situation was not safe. Thank you all for the speedy response to my call for assistance.

He took the utmost care to ensure that all my requirements were met i.e. from assigning a specific team to actually setting my programme as I am a “TECHO – PHOBIC” once the installation was completed.
For this extra-ordinary customer service I think that it should be brought to Merton Council’s procurement team as they fully deserve their contracts.
